Q) WHO NEEDS BRACES?
- Anyone who has Irregularly places teeth (crowded teeth), Spacing between teeth, Deep bite, Open bite, Tongue thrust habit, Lower teeth ahead of upper teeth (Cross bite), Forwardly placed teeth, Backwardly placed teeth and/or Improper bite should ideally undergo Orthodontic treatment to have a naturally beautiful smile.
Q) DO BRACES HURT?
- Braces do not hurt as much as they did before. With technological advancements, newer designs of braces are patient friendly and comfortable causing painless tooth movement.
Sometimes, little discomfort (not pain) occurs during treatment which is normal as tooth movement is taking place in patients mouth. That discomfort is easily managed by analgesics.
Q) WHO IS AN ORTHODONTIST?
- An Orthodontist is a qualified dentist with post-graduate degree in Orthodontics (Braces Specialist). We at ODS have our in-house highly skilled and approachable Orthodontist to treat all Orthodontic cases.
Q) ARE BRACES EXPENSIVE?
- Braces treatment is given by a specialist doctor. The treatment time ranges anywhere between 6 months (minor corrections) to 2-3 years (major correction).
